Tunes & TV

From the very first broadcasts of the radio, the programmes started with a clear identifying melody. These tunes, usually called "indicatives", were composed and arranged to be performed by the orchestras and ensembles connected with the public broadcasting company. Not only the regular programmes received their own tune, but also "indicatives" were written for special broadcasts such as those around Expo 58.

The music written for popular television series such as Het zwaard van Ardoeaan, Heterdaad and De kolderbrigade is also part of the BOO collection.
